COVID-19 vaccine available to UTA students

Effective immediately, UTA is partnering with Texas Health to provide access to COVID‑19 vaccines for all interested students and employees. The vaccine is free and will be administered at six Texas Health Community Clinics around the DFW Metroplex.

These clinics are open to the public, but UTA students and employees have priority access. Texas Health is administering the Pfizer vaccine.

Spring Music Fest Friday

Enjoy an exciting lineup of artists performing a variety of genres at Spring Music Fest 4-10 p.m. Friday, April 30. There will be snacks, yard games, and giveaways. Remember to bring blankets or lawn chairs!

Early voting

UTA is an early voting site for the May 1 local elections. Cast your ballot 8 a.m.-5 p.m. through Tuesday, April 27, at the Maverick Activities Center. Read more for times and other locations in Tarrant County.

Graduating seniors, take this survey

Students graduating in May 2021 should complete the Undergraduate Exit Survey—available through Canvas—by Monday, May 31. Responses and suggestions collected through this survey are crucial for making the Maverick experience the best it can be for all students.

Responses are confidential and will be reported only as part of the aggregated summary for your class.

Eligible students also will receive survey invitations and reminders from iersurveys@uta.edu.

Evening of Black Excellence

Graduating students have until Friday, April 30, to buy tickets to attend the Evening of Black Excellence, Achievements, and Graduation on Wednesday, May 12.

Black Excellence Awards

Nominate faculty and staff for the Reby Cary Faculty Excellence Award and the Staff Excellence Award. Suggest a student for the Maxwell Scarlett Outstanding Student Award. Nominations are due Saturday, May 1.
