Spring Music Fest

Music and games today at Brazos Park

Enjoy an exciting lineup of artists performing a variety of genres at Spring Music Fest 4-10 p.m. today, Friday, April 30, at Brazos Park. There will be snacks, yard games, and giveaways. Remember to bring blankets or lawn chairs!

Street closure Saturday

Planetarium Place will be closed north of the Maverick Garage entrance 7 a.m.-noon Saturday, May 1. The ADA parking lot on the east side of the Central Library will be unavailable during this time.

Undergrad Exit Survey

Students graduating in May 2021 should complete the Undergraduate Exit Survey—available through Canvas—by Monday, May 31. Responses are confidential. Eligible students will receive survey invitations from iersurveys@uta.edu.

Stretch out with Sunset Yoga at 6 p.m. today, Friday, April 30, at the Maverick Activities Center.

De-stress and Relax at Brazos Park 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, with various activities, including zumba, yoga, a meditative sound bath, and art activities. Score a free finals survival kit. There will be healthy snacks and giveaways. Please RSVP if you wish to participate at this event.

Pet a pooch at the May Doggy Days at the Central Library on Wednesday, May 5. Be sure to register for a time slot.

COVID-19 vaccine available to UTA students

Effective immediately, UTA is partnering with Texas Health to provide access to COVID‑19 vaccines for all interested students and employees. The vaccine is free and will be administered at six Texas Health Community Clinics around the DFW Metroplex.

These clinics are open to the public, but UTA students and employees have priority access. Texas Health is administering the Pfizer vaccine.

Evening of Black Excellence

Graduating students have until today, Friday, April 30, to buy tickets to attend the Evening of Black Excellence, Achievements, and Graduation on Wednesday, May 12.

Black Excellence Awards

Nominate faculty and staff for the Reby Cary Faculty Excellence Award and the Staff Excellence Award. Suggest a student for the Maxwell Scarlett Outstanding Student Award. Nominations are due Saturday, May 1.

Autonomous vehicle survey

UTA researchers need your input for a survey about riders' experiences using the Arlington RAPID autonomous vehicle.

Art Glass Sale, May 13-15, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Studio Art Center, 810 S. Davis Dr. Arlington. This is in-person sale will follow all COVID guidelines offered by the CDC, state and city, so you will need to register in order to attend.
