Arlington indpendence Day Fireworks, July 3, 9:30 p.m., Entertainment District. arlingtontx.gov/fireworks

Celebrate Independence Day!

UTA is closed for Independence Day on Monday, July 5, so everyone can celebrate our country's birthday.

On Saturday, July 3, Light Up Arlington starts the fireworks at 9:30 p.m. near Globe Life Field.

Look for the UTA floats in the Arlington Fourth of July Parade, which starts at 9 a.m. Monday, July 5, in on the east side of campus and through downtown Arlington. See the parade route and parking options.

Vehicular traffic or parked cars will not be allowed on the parade route’s streets 7 a.m.-1 p.m. Residents living within the parade route who need to leave their residence in a car must do so before 7:30 a.m. This will affect residents of Arlington Hall, Vandergriff Hall, Lofts, and Chawla Hall.
