Random mandatory testing has started

Students, faculty, and staff coming to any UTA campus in any capacity will be selected at random for mandatory COVID-19 testing.

UTA will end its reduced-density classes and pivot to primarily in-person instruction by no later than Monday, Sept. 20.

On-campus vaccine clinic Wednesday

The next free, walk-in-only, on-campus COVID‑19 vaccination clinic is 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15, in the exercise rooms of the Maverick Activities Center. If you can’t make it, find another vaccine opportunity.

Upload proof of vaccination to the COVID-19 Self Report portal in MyMav by Monday, Oct. 4, to be eligible for prizes in the Maverick Motivator Program.

Celebrate Constitution Day on Friday, Sept. 17, with a conversation on "The 25th Amendment and Presidential Disabilities" hosted by the Department of Political Science. The event is noon-1 p.m. Room 108 of University Hall and in Teams.

9/11 memorial exhibit

September 11, 2001: The Day That Changed the World is an educational exhibition that tells personal stories through posters, photographs, and images of artifacts. The exhibit is on display on the fourth floor of the Central Library through Thursday, Sept. 30.

UTA will host the Graduate School Expo 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, in the Palo Duro Lounge of the University Center. The expo is free for students considering graduate or professional school, with representatives from UTA's graduate programs and other universities and institutions from across the state.
