With the recent surge of COVID‑19 cases nationwide, access to evidence-based information and appropriate tools to fight the virus are more important than ever.

COVID-19 Vaccine on campus

COVID-19 vaccine clinics

Two on-campus COVID‑19 vaccine clinics are available, offering free immunizations with the FDA-approved Pfizer vaccine.

The walk-in-only clinics are 9 a.m.-noon Thursday, Sept. 30; and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6.

Free flu shots at MAC

Make sure you are protected by getting a free flu shot at the MAC. Visit mavcare.uta.edu to schedule your appointment for Monday, Sept. 27; or Wednesday, Sept. 29. Flu shots are available for UTA students only.

UTA Health Services recommends flu vaccination before Oct. 31 to allow time for antibodies to develop prior to flu season.

TRIO grants

UTA’s TRIO program received grants worth nearly $4 million from the U.S. Department of Education to help low-income students, first-generation students and unemployed or low-wage workers access higher education.

Official Maverick Ring sale

Find your style of the Official Maverick Ring at the UTA Bookstore. The sale is until 3 p.m. today, Friday, Sept. 24. Order your ring and pay in full by Oct. 15 to be part of the ring ceremony Dec. 1.

UT Arlington now uses Microsoft Authenticator to log in. If you use MyMav, UTA email, or Canvas on or off campus, you do not need to do anything. If you have not used these systems, follow these steps on Managing Your Devices Through Microsoft Authenticator.

Update your MavAlert info

Add or check your contact details for UTA's MavAlert Emergency Notification System, which rapidly notifies the UTA community of a campus emergency via registered email and cellphone.

UTA Mobile drawing for prizes

Log in to UTA Mobile to automatically be entered into a weekly drawing exclusive to students who use the app.

Grad School Expo

UTA will host the Graduate School Expo 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, in the Palo Duro Lounge of the University Center. The expo is free for students considering graduate or professional school, with representatives from UTA's graduate programs and other universities and institutions from across the state.

Take advantage of early registration for the Parent and Family Weekend Friday-Sunday, Oct. 22-24, a weekend filled with family-centered programs and events.
