All Majors Job & Internship Fair

Resume updated? Suit pressed? Be ready for your future at the All Majors Job & Internship Fair noon-4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, at the Maverick Activities Center.

Wear a suit and bring several copies of your resume. No RSVP required.

Your primary goal should be to obtain information on companies that interest you and learn how to effectively get your foot in the door when you are ready to obtain a job or internship.

COVID-19 vaccines, boosters on campus

UTA has scheduled additional on-campus clinics to offer the COVID‑19 vaccines and booster, free of cost, to UTA students, employees, and their families and dependents. The next is Wednesday, March 2.

At UTA’s on-campus clinics, operated in partnership with Walmart, individuals 12 and older can receive first and second doses of both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. Booster doses are available for all eligible individuals.

Each clinic will operate on a walk-in-only basis 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in Room 102B in the Maverick Activities Center. Other clinics are on Wednesdays, March 16 and March 30.

Ransom renovations

The lobby of Ransom Hall will undergo renovations. Use the doors on the east and west sides. The University Advising Center front desk will temporarily relocate to Room 104 in Preston Hall. Contact DSS@uta.edu with advising-related questions.

It's Ring Week

Choose your class ring from a wide selection during Ring Week at the UTA Bookstore. Hours for Ring Week are 11 a.m.-3 p.m. today, Tuesday, Feb. 22; noon-6 p.m. Wednesday-Thursday, Feb. 23-24; and 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25.

Submit your nominations for Outstanding Student Employee Supervisor by Monday, Feb. 28.

Early voting at MAC

Early voting for the March 1 primary elections will be at the Maverick Activities Center 7 a.m.-7 p.m. through Friday, Feb. 25.

Sustainability survey

The Office of Sustainability is conducting a sustainability assessment survey to understand where the UTA community stands on sustainability literacy and sustainability behaviors. The survey will close on Friday, Feb. 25. Questions? Email bhargavi.jeyarjah@uta.edu.

UTA, Downtown bike survey

Give your feedback on bicycle infrastructure, behavior, amenities, and services on campus and Downtown Arlington. Results will be used in the creation of a well-connected and safe bike network in Arlington.

EpICMavs workshops
