Forums for VP of Research and Innovation

Virtual forums with final candidates for vice president for Research and Innovation are planned.

These forums are open to all students, faculty, and staff as an opportunity to engage with the finalists and provide feedback that will inform the final steps of the selection process. The sessions are:

Registrar website

The Office of the Registrar website has been updated with increased utility and improved user experience. Find essential forums, calendars with important deadlines, and much more.

Tate named registrar

Kimberly Tate was named registrar by the Office of Enrollment Management. She has worked in the Registrar's office since summer 2019 and has served as interim registrar since fall 2021.

Don't Delay: Test soon and treat early for COVID-19

File report if you test positive for COVID-19

Students and employees diagnosed with COVID‑19 are required to report through the Personal Diagnosis Form. UTA no longer requires close contact reporting, but employees and students should still follow the University’s close contact guidance.

Free COVID‑19 testing is available to employees and students at the Curative Testing Center, 435 Spaniolo Dr., in the College Park District. Appointments are strongly encouraged. The University Center testing site has closed. Other testing resources are available online.

Quest for Top Tier

The latest Inquiry magazine shows how in its quest to qualify for the Texas National Research University Fund, UT Arlington revamped its research portfolio and charted a new course for the future.

Juneteenth at Brazos Park

Join the third annual Juneteenth Festival 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, at Brazos Park for an opportunity to learn about and celebrate Black resilience and Black culture.

Juneteenth Jubilee

The Arlington Juneteenth Jubilee celebration will host a variety of events designed to feed the mind, body, and spirit Friday-Sunday, June 17-19.

  • June 27—Last day to drop classes for first five-week term; submit requests to advisor prior to 4 p.m. Last day of classes for first seven-week term.
  • June 28—Final exams for first seven-week term. Registration ends for second seven-week term.
  • June 29—First day of classes for second seven-week term.
  • June 29-30—Late registration for second seven-week term.
