Flu and COVID vaccine clinic Friday

A walk-in vaccine clinic for student and employees is set for 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, in room 102A of the Maverick Activities Center. Bivalent COVID‑19 boosters and flu vaccines will be available and can be administered in tandem. No appointment is required.

COVID-19 boosters are free, regardless of insurance status. Flu vaccines at this clinic are free with insurance and $25 without, payable by cash or check.

UTA students also can get the flu vaccine through UTA Health Services for free. Call 817‑272‑2771 to schedule your free flu shot.

UTA is adding a first-of-its-kind bachelor’s degree program in resource and energy engineering to train students to apply engineering principles to the design, development, operation, and evaluation of energy generation, storage, conversion, and distribution systems.
