Notice about campus activity

At or around 6 p.m. today, Thursday, Nov. 10, UTA students and employees may notice increased expressive activity in the vicinity of College Hall and the University Center mall related to an event hosted by a campus organization.

The University has been working with the student organization on how best to host its event and maintain a safe campus environment. UTA’s free speech rules and guidelines permit students, faculty, staff, and the general public to gather and exercise their right to free speech on campus, but state law prohibits significant disruption of University operations.

For additional information and FAQs, please visit UTA’s Free Speech, Expression, and Assembly website.
