The Department of Art and Art History featured the work of nearly 40 of its graduating seniors at the Bachelor of Fine Arts Fall 2022 exhibition. The exhibit showcased a wide range of artistic expression, from paintings and drawings to glass and sculpture to ceramics and cinematic arts.

Graduate gives back

When Kyairra Burns volunteers at area pediatric hospitals, she knows just what young patients are looking for—because she used to be one of them. She graduated Friday with a Bachelor of Science in public health, an academic path inspired by her passion to help children and their families fighting their own health battles.

The intersection of West Street and Nedderman Drive by Pickard Hall will be closed for upgrades through Monday, Jan. 9. Lot F10 access will be available via West Street from Mitchell Street. Exit the lot onto Fourth Street.

Teams toolbar update

|
Microsoft Teams is updating the meeting toolbar to make navigating meetings and accessing new features easier. Users may notice changes in their meeting toolbar, including a dedicated "Raise Hand" button, a “View” button, and menu subgroups.

|

Health, wellness at bookstore
|
|
UTA Bookstore will add health and wellness products featuring The Vitamin Shoppe both online and in the store starting in January. The Vitamin Shoppe offers a selection of foundational health vitamins and supplements, sports nutrition products, and academic performance products that support sleep, mood, and brain health.

Exit survey

If you are graduating this fall, please complete the Undergraduate or Master’s Exit Survey by Saturday, Dec. 31. You will receive a survey invitation from gradteam@uta.edu. The survey will also be accessible through Canvas.
