Why did you choose to attend UTA?
I wanted something local and I looked into the program and loved that there are specific classes every semester. I liked the idea of moving every semester with the same group of people that would eventually graduate with me.
What is your favorite thing about the College of Education at UTA?
I like the professors so far. The professors have a lot of experience in the field and I love hearing their experiences.
Who is your favorite professor? Why?
I love Professor Dartt so far. I enjoy her class discussions and I find the subject fascinating.
What are your plans after you graduate?
My plan is to have a career in teaching. I want to make a difference in my community.
What is the one thing you think a prospective Education student needs to know?
We need caring loving educators to teach future generations. I think wanting to be an educator is one of the most important roles in society. They need to know that they won’t be alone in the program that they will have the people around them cheering and helping them along the way.
