The Center for K-16 Education Policy and Research, founded in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, is dedicated to producing and disseminating cutting-edge research on K-16 education to inform education policy and practice.
The Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies seeks to bring together educational leaders who are interested in pushing boundaries and challenging conventional wisdom. We offer a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies with a focus on K-16 education as well as a M.Ed. with higher education or K-12 leadership emphases, in addition to principal or superintendent certification programs, and one undergraduate leadership minor and leadership certificate program. The department fosters a dynamic learning environment by bringing together students and scholars with research expertise and/or practical experience in K-12 leadership and higher education.
