Medal of Valor

We all recognize the daily sacrifices Campus Police make to keep our University safe and protected. Now, the entire UT System has acknowledged the heroism of one UTA police officer. Officer Jeff George earned the UT System Medal of Valor for his selfless actions earlier this year that prevented harm to those on campus and in the community. During a ceremony on July 22, President Karbhari expressed his gratitude for Officer George and the entire Campus Police Department. You can read his remarks from the event here.
