Cooperative Engineering Education / Internships
Co-ops and internships are programs designed to give undergraduate students practical work experience in their respective academic disciplines. Internships are also available for graduate students. We collaborate with local employers to place students in part-time positions that allow them to continue their usual course load or in full-time positions over alternating semesters.
The Co-op Office is responsible for administering the undergraduate engineering co-op and internship program and is located in the Engineering Student Services Center, 242 Nedderman Hall. Staff is available to answer general questions about specific co-op listings, procedures for registering for the co-op course, etc. A counselor is available for students seeking assistance with general career planning, résumé writing, interviewing techniques and job search strategies.
The Co-op Office is responsible for administering the undergraduate engineering co-op and The Student Employment Services Office provides assistance for students seeking positions that do not require degrees. The University Career Services Office provides assistance to graduate students for internship opportunities and full-time, degree-required positions in all degree levels. For more information on our co-op, internship or college work experience programs, take time to review our website, or stop by our office in 242 Nedderman Hall. We look forward to meeting you!
