Dr. Thomas Wright has dedicated most of his life to the field of Organizational Behavior. A professor at Kansas State University, he teaches classes related to organizational behavior, human resource management, and business ethics. He also conducts research on subjects such as enhancing employee health and well being and optimizing employee performance. Renowned as an international expert on organizational behavior, Dr. Wright became the first Jon Wefald Leadership Chair in Business Administration at Kansas State University. He is a Fellow of the Association for Psychological Science and the Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
Dr. Wright’s articles have appeared in a number of journals including the Academy of Management Review and the Journal of Organizational Behavior.
Dr. Thomas Wright received his B.A. from Stonehill College and completed his master’s degree at San Francisco State University before earning his doctorate from the University of California at Berkeley.
In addition to his intellectual achievements, Dr. Wright has demonstrated an aptitude for physical health. In 2006, he won the title of the World Champion Bench Presser in the men’s master division for his age and weight class. His personal best on the bench is 435 pounds; a little more than two times his weight.
