Application Resources

Official transcripts from all prior colleges/universities where you have received or attempted college credit are required. Guidelines for submitting official transcripts to the Office of Graduate Admissions can be found online via this link.

Exam score and waiver requirements vary by individual program. Each program within the College of Business uses a holistic approach in reviewing applications and GMAT or GRE results are not used as the sole criterion for an admission decision.

For the purposes of graduate admissions, only the last 60 hours of a student’s undergraduate career are used in evaluating an applicant for admission.

A 250-500 word written document communicating what an applicant hopes to achieve in their graduate student career and how they intend to overcome past or present challenges faced. Applicants may submit a personal statement via the ApplyUTA application or by email to gradbiz@uta.edu along with your UTA ID number after submitting your application.

Recommenders include associates who share a professional relationship with an applicant and are able to speak to their work ethic, goals, and achievements. Recommenders should not include close family or friends. Letters can be submitted via email to gradbiz@uta.edu along with your UTA ID number after submitting your application.

Background business courses to be completed upon gaining admission to a graduate program. Course requirements vary based on the educational history of each applicant.

A resume provides an overview of an applicant’s past experience and skills and serves to emphasize the strength of an applicant. Although College of Business graduate programs do not admit applicants based solely on work experience, a resume is a great way to provide support to an application file. Professional resumes can be submitted via email to gradbiz@uta.edu along with your UTA ID number after submitting your application.

Applicants for Readmission

Graduate students who have previously attended the university and wish to return after a break of at least one long semester (Fall/Spring) may do so by submitting a Graduate Application for Readmission.
