Submitting Academic Records
Submitting the SRAR Guidelines
The Self-Reported Academic Record (SRAR) allows applicants to self-report their courses, grades, class rank, and other academic information directly to UTA rather than having high school counselors send transcripts. The high school academic information must be accurate and entered into the SRAR exactly as listed on the student’s high school transcript. Grades and coursework should not be entered from memory. Students should obtain a copy of their transcripts from their high school counselor to complete the SRAR. UTA will validate the student's grades after receiving the final official transcript.
Students can access SRAR upon completing a UTA application and receiving their credentials to the MyMav student portal. SRAR allows applicants to complete their application to UTA for a quicker application processing time and, therefore, a quicker admissions decision.
All first-year freshman applicants attending domestic or international high schools are encouraged to complete the SRAR, with the following exception:
- GED Graduates
All admitted first-year students to UTA must submit an official high school transcript with the graduation date by August 15.
If you have questions about how to complete the SRAR, contact your UTA admissions counselor or email admissionsprocessing@uta.edu, subject – SRAR. If you have questions about the SRAR website or trouble using the website, please contact SRAR Technical Support.
SUBMITTING OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT GUIDELINES
Students who submit unofficial transcripts to be reviewed for admission will still need to submit their official transcripts once the institution(s) have made them available. Official transcripts should be received no later than the 12th class day of a student’s first semester. You can submit your official transcripts to the Office of Admissions electronically or by mail.
