How To Apply

  1. Submit the Application

    We recommend using the ApplyUTA application, but you can also use Apply Texas. For more resources as you plan for college, visit myTexasfuture.org.
  2. Pay the Application Fee

    If you didn’t pay your application fee when you submitted your admission application, we will send you a unique payment link via email within 1-2 business days to the email address used on your application.

    If you have trouble receiving this email after 1-2 business days, please call 817-272-6287 or use the link below to register an account to pay your app fee. Please use the same email address you provided on your application so we can accurately match your payment to your file.

  3. Submit Your Official Transcripts

    Have non-U.S. institution transcripts to submit?
    UTA requires you to upload non-U.S. transcripts for Foreign Credentials Service of America (FCSA) review. A FCSA processing fee charge of $90.00 USD will be collected by FCSA at the time of non-U.S. institution transcript upload.

    Have U.S. institution transcripts to submit?
    You need to submit your official transcripts once the institution(s) have made them available. Official transcripts must be submitted from all institutions you have attended. The preferred method is electronically--sent directly from your school. If you are asked for an email address, use utaadmissions@uta.edu.

  4. Submit English Language Test Scores

    If your native language is not English, you must demonstrate a sufficient level of skill with the English language to ensure success in your studies. For TOEFL, we require a 4 on the 6 point scale or a 79 on the 120 point scale. For IELTS, we require a minimum score of 6.5. For Duolingo, we require a minimum score of 100.   5. Track Your Admission Status

    Track the status of your admissions through your MyMav student portal. Under the admissions section, you will see the status of your application. If you have a status of "Incomplete," please refer to your to-do list for any items that we may still need from you. Please note that it can take up to 5-7 business days for submitted application materials to be processed and removed from your to-do list. If you have a status of "Complete," please allow up to 3-5 weeks for us to process an admission decision. Learn More About Accessing MyMav
