How To Apply

  1. Submit the Application

     Apply now through ApplyTexas

  2. Pay the Application Fee

     If you did not submit your application fee at the time of submitting your admissions application, you can pay it online. All documents and fees must be provided so we can provide you with an admission decision. Pay Your Application Fee

  3. Submit Your Official Transcripts

     You need to submit your official transcripts once the institution(s) have made them available. Official transcripts must be submitted from all institutions you have attended. The preferred method is electronically--sent directly from your school. If you are asked for an email address, use utaadmissions@uta.edu. Learn More About Submitting Transcripts

  4. Submit English Language Test Scores

     If your native language is not English, you must demonstrate a sufficient level of skill with the English language to ensure success in your studies. For TOEFL, we require a 79 on the internet-based test. For IELTS, we require a minimum score of 6.5. For Duolingo, we require a minimum score of 100.   5. Track Admissions Status

Although applications are accepted after the priority date, submitting your application and required documents will ensure guaranteed consideration.

Transfer Scholarship (up to $1,000 - $5,000 annually): February 14

Transfer Scholarship ($1,000 annually): July 3

Please note that some deadlines are earlier than application priority dates. You must submit your admissions application, along with all required documents and fees to be considered for these scholarships.

Cost of Attendance & Visa Requirements

The U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service requires that you show proof that adequate resources are available to meet your first year of educational and living expenses. Before an I-20 can be issued, a financial statement form must be completed and returned with the indicated documentation. Financial documents may be submitted online. If you are already studying in the U.S. on an F-1 (student) visa, you must establish transfer eligibility by submitting a school transfer notification before UTA initiates the transfer.
