Doctoral Students

Dr. Nathan Keller was a Founding Goolsby Doctoral Fellow from 2003 - 2005. Major Keller is an active duty U.S. Army social worker currently serving as the Chief of the Mental Health Service, 1st Cavalry Division at Fort Hood Texas. He received his Ph.D. in social work with an emphasis in stress and leadership from The University of Texas at Arlington. Major Keller holds a board certification in clinical social work (BCD) by the American Board of Examiners and an Advanced Clinical Social Work License (LCSW).

Marilyn Macik-Frey is the Elvira Fuller Faust/Goolsby Doctoral Fellow working with the Goolsby Leadership Academy, College of Business Administration, The University of Texas at Arlington. Her doctoral research is in organization behavior with an emphasis on communication and leadership. She earned a B.S. for Select Students from Stephen F. Austin State University, an M.S. in Communicative Disorders from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and M.B.A. from Texas A& M University in Corpus Christi. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the ASHA.

Faye K. Cocchiara is an Elvira Fuller Faust/Goolsby Doctoral Scholar and a doctoral student in management in the College of Business Administration. She earned her M.S. in Human Resource Management from UTA. She is a former manager of Human Resources at Sabre Group in Fort Worth, Texas responsible for executive-level succession planning and corporate diversity initiatives. She has presented several papers at the national Academy of Management Meetings and her research has been published in the Journal of Organizational Behavior.
