David A. Mack is Assistant Dean for Program Development and the Executive Director of the Goolsby Leadership Academy at The University of Texas at Arlington’s College of Business Administration. He received his Ph.D. from UT Arlington in May 2000. He previously earned an MBA in Entrepreneurship from DePaul University in 1993.
He has published a number of articles and book chapters on job stress, workplace violence, leadership, and small business.
His award winning Organizational Dynamics article “EDS: An Inside View of a Corporate Life Cycle Transition” examined the spin-off of EDS from General Motors Corporation.
Dave has had extensive management experience in the insurance and financial services industry. He is currently a co-owner, with his wife, of a financial services marketing/management business in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. He also serves on the board of directors of The Fourth Street Child and Parent Learning Center, a non-profit school for developmentally challenged children in Arlington.
Dave teaches undergraduate and graduate courses at UT Arlington and has taught graduate business courses at both DePaul University and Texas Wesleyan University. His teaching specializes in Management Consulting, Applied Research, Leadership and Organization Behavior. He is also active in the College’s Executive MBA program in China.
