Rebecca Neilson
Rebecca Neilson joined the faculty of the College of Business in 2005. Her bachelor’s degree is from Nicholls State University and her master’s degree in human resource management is from UT Arlington. She teaches human resources, organizational behavior, and leadership and is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR). She has received the Outstanding Lecturer of the Year award from the College of Business.
Ms. Neilson is retired from the United States Army Reserve at the rank of Colonel with 30 years of commissioned service. She is interested in Veterans’ issues. She takes an active role in the Goolsby Leadership Academy assisting Dr. Mack in development of programs for the Academy. She serves as member of the Goolsby Leadership Advisory Board and teaches the first Goolsby Leadership class.
She is currently the Director of Graduate Business Services at the College of Business. She assists prospective students and current students with administrative issues related to the pursuit of their degrees.
