Welcome to the home page of the Math Clinic
of The University of Texas at Arlington.
We are a tutoring resource available to students currently enrolled in
the following undergraduate mathematics classes at UT Arlington only
(Math 0300-1308, 1315-1316, 1322-1325, 1421-2326, 2425, 3318-3319, and 3330).
For help, just drop in and raise your flag and a tutor will be there
to assist you.
We are located in Room 325 Pickard Hall and you can reach us at (817) 272-5674.
Since the Math Clinic operates on a limited budget,
sometimes you might have to wait a few minutes until the next
available tutor can help you.
We do try to keep your waiting time to a minimum and appreciate
the patience of our students.
Due to Math Clinic and Departmental Policy,
we are only able to help students currently enrolled in the priority math courses at UTA listed above.
There are other tutoring sources available, and we will try to
assist you in finding the best help for you.

Who we are
The tutors at the UTA Math Clinic are fellow students at UTA. We are all undergraduate students with excellent mathematical experience and knowledge. As in life, we all have our own areas of expertise, but we are all generally proficient in all of the subjects we tutor.
The tutors are all undergraduate students from varying majors.
We are not all Math majors.
Surprisingly, a majority of the tutors are Engineering majors.
Dr. Barbara Shipman (bshipman@uta.edu) is the faculty supervisor of the UTA Math Clinic. She oversees the scheduling and general affairs of the clinic and the hiring.
