Student Governance and Organizations (SGO) is dedicated to helping students at UT Arlington find their place at the University. Whether it's through Activity Fair Days, student organizations, or departmental programming, the department has a variety of ways to get involved.

SGO houses six programming areas: Student Congress, Student Organizations, Freshmen Leaders on Campus, UTA HOSTS! Peer Mentoring, UTA Ambassadors, and the Graduate Student Senate. In addition, the department services over 300 student organizations. Through the organizations, students become engaged in activities that enhance their educational experience.

For information on SGO programs, please email mavorgs@uta.edu.
