Dear Maverick Students,

An important step in creating a truly diverse, equitable, and inclusive community is to understand the perspective and experiences of UTA students as they relate to the University’s campus environment.

The UTA Student Campus Climate Survey is designed to help us advance UTA’s commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of campus life and operation. The information collected through this survey, implemented by the Committee on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, will be used to understand the present climate at UTA and inform current and future decisions and initiatives to support a vibrant diverse and inclusive campus community.

Your responses to this survey are confidential and will not be part of any academic, medical, employment, or disciplinary record, and no individually identifiable information will be reported.

Please follow this link to complete the survey by Monday, April 5. Completing this survey takes approximately 20 minutes, and you can skip any question you do not feel comfortable answering.

We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to have your voice heard so your perspective and experiences can impact positive change for all Mavericks.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact:

  • Debra Woody, Committee co-chair – 817-272-9474
  • Michelle Bobadilla, Committee co-chair – 817-235-1517
  • Jean Hood, senior advisor for diversity, equity and inclusion – 817-272-1506

Thank you in advance for your participation and for serving as a partner in achieving our goals for a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive UTA.

Sincerely,

Committee on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

-
