Johnson appointed VP for enrollment management
|

Dr. Troy Johnson, associate vice president for enrollment at Illinois State University and a higher education professional with national stature, has been named vice president for enrollment management at UTA, effective in November.
Johnson’s credentials and achievements as an accomplished enrollment professional will provide the leadership needed by UTA in his new position during this period of substantial growth.
Johnson held positions of increasing authority in enrollment and recruitment at the University of North Texas, West Texas A&M University, and Texas Tech University, and is extremely knowledgeable about the Texas university landscape. LEARN MORE.

Faculty and staff may access their base salary information effective Sept. 1, 2016, online through the UT Share Employee Self Service page. At the prompt, select The University of Texas at Arlington from the list and log in with your Net ID and password. On this page, go to the My Reports section at the bottom right to locate your salary notification letter. Additional instructions can be found at uta.edu/hr. Presidential debate watch parties start today

Find out where the candidates stand on the issues at the presidential and vice presidential debates watch parties 7:30-9:30 p.m. in the sixth floor atrium of the Central Library. The presidential debates start today, Monday, Sept. 26, followed by the vice presidential debate Tuesday, Oct. 4, and more presidential debates Sunday, Oct. 9, and Wednesday, Oct. 19.

Microsoft Exchange project update

The Office of Information Technology will begin the final step in the Microsoft Exchange 2013 email system today, Monday, Sept. 26. The benefits of the Exchange system include increased storage for individual and resource mailboxes, improved aesthetics, page responsiveness, and more. Read more on the Exchange website.
