Parking permits available now

Parking permits for 2017-18 are available online. Payroll deduction is offered. Go to uta.edu/pats and log in to MavPark to obtain a permit.


UTA Planetarium offers eclipse glasses, viewing party

Faculty, staff, and students can purchase a pair of special solar eclipse glasses for $1.50 in preparation for the eclipse Monday, Aug. 21. The glasses are limited to one pair per UTA ID. Cost is $2.50 for non-UTA individuals. Pick up a pair through Friday, Aug. 18, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Planetarium gift shop and 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Planetarium office in Room 364 of the Chemistry and Physics Building.

A watch party begins at noon with the show Astronomy 101: Solar Eclipses followed by the viewing. LEARN MORE.

The Planetarium also will livestream the eclipse.
