Instructional Classes

Maverick Boot Camp

Maverick Boot Camp is an INTENSE, exciting one hour workout sure to get your heart racing and your muscles burning! The class format and programming will be varied to challenge you in new ways and to test your will and push you past your limits. Exercise selection includes: bodyweight work, kettlebells, medicine balls, sandbags, Prowler work, cone drills, agility ladders, and the creativity of our instructor!

Each session will last 4-weeks and we have morning or evening sessions available. Please visit the Services & Information Desk at the MAC to sign up. A minimum of 10 participants will be required for the class to make. A maximum of 30 participants can register for the class. If you are serious about getting in great shape join us for a unique, challenging group experience. Get lean, strong, conditioned and have FUN doing it! All fitness levels are welcome.

CPR/AED/First Aid Classes

These classes each consist of a single five-hour class, covering the American Red Cross first aid basics, medical emergencies, injury emergencies, environmental emergencies, adult CPR and AED use. Participants who successfully complete the class will receive an American Red Cross certification card valid for two years. Sign up today at the Services and Information Desk at the MAC, cost is $50.

Maverick METCON

Metabolic conditioning, aka METCON, is a high intensity, hybrid-training approach designed to help you shed fat and build muscle. We’ll combine resistance training with more traditional conditioning exercises into a heart pumping, muscle building and calorie burning session. We’ll push the limits of your mind and body while focusing on good, quality movement and targeted energy system development. The ideal candidate for this class is someone who is proficient in basic human movements and one who possesses a solid strength and aerobic base. Come ready to work!

This class will meet twice a week for 4-weeks. A minimum of 5 participants is needed for this class to make. Due to space limitations, a maximum of 10 may register for this class. Please visit the Services & Information Desk at the MAC to sign up.

If you like a challenge and are serious about improving your fitness, join our new METCON class for a unique, heart pumping, muscle burning experience.
