Lecturer Lael Morgan, JOUR, celebrated the release of her 17th book, “Kitchen Stories Cookbook: Comfort Cookin’ Made Fascinating and Easy.” Co-authored with journalist Linda Altoonian of Texas, this book is a throwback to her very first publication on cooking at sea.
In “Kitchen Stories,” Morgan and Altoonian focus is on the
culinary benefits of America’s geographic and ethnic variety. They tell the
stories of their comfort food discoveries which require only six ingredients or less.
Morgan, whose forebearers landed in America with the Mayflower, brings her traditional rural New England favorites and a love of Alaska legend to her latest book.
