The CDC recently recommended Pfizer’s pediatric COVID‑19 vaccine for children ages 5-11. To support Mavericks with family and dependents in this age group, UTA has established two on-campus pediatric vaccine clinics.

These clinics, operated in partnership with Walmart, are free and open to UTA students and employees’ family members and dependents 5 years and older. Clinics will be held on a walk-in-only basis in room 100B in the Maverick Activities Center.

  • Saturday, Nov. 20 – 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Saturday, Dec. 11 – 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Individuals 12 years and older can receive first and second doses of both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines at these clinics, and booster doses will be available for eligible individuals.

UTA’s pediatric vaccine clinics are in addition to the previously announced on-campus clinics scheduled for Nov. 17 and Dec. 1. Those clinics will not administer the pediatric COVID‑19 vaccine but will remain open to UTA students, employees and their family members and dependents 12 years and older.
