How to send encrypted e-mail from your e-mail encryption web portal account - Click here to access e-mail encryption web portal

Compose Message:

  1. Enter the TO addresses separated by commas as seen below:
    compose
  2. Complete the Subject field.
  3. Click Attachments to add one or more attachments to the message
  4. Enter the body of your encrypted message in the Message field.
  5. Optional, Automatically BCC me on this email - BCC is a verification for the sender, without the customer knowing, that the message sent was encrypted. This is the design of the e-mail encryption system. You must add your name into the "to" field to be able to open and read the encrypted message.
  6. Optional, Send me a read receipt when a recipient has opened this email - When you send a secure message, you can select a check box to request a read receipt. A read receipt is a notification e-mail message that alerts you when a recipient first opens a secure message that you have sent. Note: Because the configuration of some recipients' email systems can prevent read receipts from reaching you, read receipts are not guaranteed. To verify the date and time when a recipient first opened your message, use the Manage Message feature of the e-mail encryption web portal to view the message details.
  7. Click Send. A notice appears at the top of the Compose Message page indicating that the message has been sent, as seen below:
    sent

Manage Messages:

As a sender of encrypted messages the system allows you several options.

  1. Enter the keyword to begin the search for Sent Messages, as seen below:
    manage
  2. Click Search
  3. Select the message and click the action above that you wish to perform, "Update Expiration For Messages" and "Lock/Unlock Message", as seen below:
    search
  4. Update Expiration for Messages - This option sets an expiration date and time to make the encrypted message no longer available to the recipient.
  5. Lock/Unlock Message - This option is used to toggle to lock/unlock an encrypted message from being read by the recipient.
