Uninstall SCCM 2007 manually

Available To:

  • Departments and Offices at UT Arlington
  • Faculty (currently appointed) and Staff

System requirements: Windows

How to Use:

 

Windows XP

  1. Open the command prompt  
  2. In the command prompt, navigate to "C:\Windows\System32\ccmsetup"
  3. Run "ccmsetup.exe /uninstall" – [May take 5-15 to uninstall client]
  4. Open Control Panel, Configuration Manager and Run Advertised Programs Icons should no longer be available

Windows 7 32-bit

  1. Open the command prompt as administrator (run as admin)  
  2. In the command prompt, navigate to "C:\Windows\System32\ccmsetup"
  3. Run "ccmsetup.exe /uninstall" – [May take 5-15 to uninstall client]
  4. Open Control Panel, Configuration Manager and Run Advertised Programs Icons should no longer be available

Windows 7 64-bit

  1. Open the command prompt as administrator (run as admin)
