Orientation Leaders
Maverick Orientation Leaders (Mav OLs) are current students who work with the New Maverick Orientation Program. Mav OLs assist in welcoming new students and their families to UT Arlington. Students selected to be Maverick Orientation Leaders have succeeded academically and understand the importance of giving back to their community. Maverick Orientation Leader is a very prestigious leadership position.
Working closely with New Maverick Orientation staff, Mav OLs put in over 100 hours of practice and training to make sure everything is perfect for your arrival. Each Maverick Orientation Leader has a different story to tell and they are excited to share what they have learned!
