If you are starting at UTA in the fall semester, you will enjoy a two-day orientation. If you plan to enroll starting in UTA’s spring or summer term, you will receive a shortened one-day orientation.

New Maverick Orientation has a unique type of orientation program to fit the unique needs of our new international students. Attendance is required at one of the following sessions for students on an F-1 or J-1 visa.
If you are a transfer and military-connected student (such as active duty, veteran, reserve, or National Guard), you are eligible to attend one of UTA’s Veteran Orientations, or you may attend a traditional transfer orientation session
A SPECIALIZED ONLINE NURSING ORIENTATION
New Maverick Graduate Orientation is an optional program designed to help new master's and doctoral students learn about UTA's resources and services to support their writing, research, and study.
This orientation does not take the place of required departmental orientations for graduate students. The New Maverick Graduate Orientation supplements those programs to support your success.
