Each orientation session has a limited registration capacity, so you are encouraged to register as early as possible.
Freshman Orientation is required for all new first-time-in-college students at The University of Texas at Arlington. During orientation, you will learn about campus resources, meet other new Mavericks, and receive academic advising. You will register for your fall courses during orientation, so attending the earliest available session is strongly recommended to maximize course availability.
Freshman Orientation is a two-day, overnight experience. Students attending these sessions are expected to stay overnight in the designated orientation residence hall using the provided accommodations. You will receive a confirmation email prior to your session with a detailed schedule, packing list, and additional information to help you prepare.
2 Day Dates: All FTIC orientation sessions are two-day, in-person experiences.

The Orientation Fee is non-refundable once your registration is completed, including for students who do not attend Orientation and/or who ultimately choose not to enroll at UTA.
