Transfer Orientation Dates

UTA provides you with a smooth transition as you become part of the Maverick family.

Transfer Orientation is required for all new transfer students at The University of Texas at Arlington. Designed for students with prior college experience, this experience helps you feel confident navigating UTA from day one. You’ll learn about campus resources, connect with other transfer Mavericks and receive academic advising. You’ll also register for your courses during orientation, so attending an early session is encouraged.

All Transfer orientation sessions are one-day, in-person experiences.

Refund Policy

Please be advised that in order to receive a refund, requests must be submitted a minimum of 7 days prior to the scheduled Orientation or Maventure Camp session. This time frame is essential as it allows us to finalize accurate attendee counts and logistical arrangements. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to this policy.
