UTA families and supporters play a vital role in strengthening the Maverick community by generously giving towards initiatives that enrich every student’s experience on campus. Their contributions take many forms, including joining the Maverick Parent & Family Association (MPFA) and giving to the Parent & Family Fund, the Emergency Assistance Fund, and the MPFA Scholarship Endowment.
The Parent & Family Fund assists with the operational budget for family-centered programs and events within the Office of New Student, Transition, and Family Programs.
The Maverick Parent & Family Association awards three $800 scholarships every fall and spring semester. Currently enrolled students at the University of Texas at Arlington are eligible to apply if they are in good standing with the university and have a family member with an active membership in the Maverick Parent & Family Association.
Outside financial support helps to make sure that the Emergency Assistance Fund is able to continue its work in helping our students in need. Please consider making a gift to the EAF in support this important work.
