Maverick friends and families, you are cordially invited to attend Friends & Family Weekend. Join us for a weekend filled with family-centered programs and events during the most vibrant time of year. Friends & Family Weekend is hosted every fall semester in the 3rd weekend of October.

Friends & Family Weekend 2026

Join us for UTA’s annual Friends & Family Weekend on Oct. 16-17! To celebrate the 20th anniversary of UTA’s first family weekend, we’re rewinding to the 2000s for a full-on throwback weekend packed with nostalgia and Maverick family pride. This year’s weekend will also include a preview of UTA's basketball teams, a Planetarium show, glass-blowing demonstrations, a UTA Racing competition, and even more entertainment. Register by the priority deadline Oct. 2nd to secure your spot for this unforgettable experience!
