Appointments
CAPS services are available by appointment through in-person and telehealth options. Login to the Health Services Web Portal for access. Calls from CAPS staff may appear as an unidentified or unknown number on your caller ID. Login for access to important information related to appointments, forms and required paperwork, and secure messages with CAPS and Health Services providers.
Appointment - What to expect
You will be instructed to log into the Health Services Portal 30 minutes prior to your appointment time to complete paperwork and consent forms required before the start of your session. Your concerns will be discussed and recommendations made for supporting your goals. These may include CAPS counseling or psychiatry services, groups or workshops, UTA resources, and/or referrals to community resources when optimal treatment is beyond available CAPS services.
Crisis Visits
Crisis counselors are available for same-day appointments on a first-come, first-served basis. Call CAPS 817-272-3671 to schedule a crisis visit during business hours. Call the MAVS TALK 24-hour crisis line to speak with a crisis counselor available 24/7: (817) 272-TALK (8255)
What to expect: You will be instructed to log into the Health Services Portal to complete paperwork and consent forms required prior to the start of your crisis visit. Counselors will focus on addressing your present crisis, safety, and resource referrals for immediate and continued support.
