Apartment and Residence Life

Campus Recreation

Movin' Mavs
Be amazed by the Movin’ Mavs, who boast seven national championships and have a rich history of leading the nation in intercollegiate basketball. The team continues to impress everyone–including the competition.

New Maverick Orientation
Getting here is only the beginning. At orientation you will get the inside scoop on policies, procedures, and traditions, all while touring the campus and meeting new friends, faculty, and staff.
Off Campus Mavericks
Drive in and connect with the campus community. Commuter students are welcome to connect with UT Arlington by accessing the center’s programs, newsletters, and commuter center in the MAC.
Office for Students with Disabilities
Receive assistance from the Office for Students with Disabilities so that you can participate in the full spectrum of college life. OSD is constantly working to improve access for all who need it.
Parent & Family Center
Family matters at UT Arlington. The center will help you continue to build and strengthen the student/family partnership with communication outlets, events, and incentives.
Relationship Violence and Sexual Assault Prevention
Receive education, support, and prevention from the RVSP program. The program also provides confidential services, and training on response and advocacy. Remember that you are not alone and never to blame.
Spirit Groups
Give me a U-T-A! The Spirit Groups include the cheerleading squad, dance team, and mascot, Blaze. Together, they support the athletic teams and lead the community in spirit.
Student Activities
Have the time of your life while giving back to the community with time honored events and traditions. Students can even make their mark on history by signing up to plan future traditions.

Student Governance and Organizations
With nearly 250 student organizations on campus, there is something for everyone. Student Governance also houses student-centered programs including Freshman Leaders on Campus, Student Congress, and many more.
Student Publications
Student Publications is the home of The Shorthorn, our award-winning, student-run newspaper. Read the print and online editions to keep up with what’s going on and what students are talking about.
University Events
