The University of Texas at Arlington

The Educational Talent Search Program at The University of Texas at Arlington provides free college, career, and financial aid information to over 600 middle school and high school students each year. Talent Search identifies and selects students who demonstrate the potential postsecondary enrollment and provides them with the motivation and support to enroll in a program of postsecondary education (college, university, technical or vocational school) after high school graduation.

Oct 24th - Campus tours have been RESCHEDULED to Saturday, November 14th. We will now be visiting TCC-Southeast Campus and Mountain View College. Please see attached agenda for details.

Oct 31st - The Arlington Coalition for Education (ACE) will be sponsoring a Youth Summit on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at Sam Houston high School, 2000 Sam Houston Drive in Arlington from 8:00 am-1:00 pm. We are asking that a representative be on hand to provide information to our students and families in the Resource Room. View Workshop Topics and Information about the Life Academy.

Nov 14th - TCC and Mountainview Campus Tours. 9:30-1:30pm, 6th-12th grade. Pickup and dropoff: Mavericks Activity Center (MAC); lunch provided. Please wear orange program t-shirt and comfortable walking shoes.

Nov 17th - Bring your Sunday best and receive fun and helpful tips in preparing to dress for success in school, work, and life.

Nov 19th - Dress for Success Workshop, 6:30-8pm, Hutcheson JH, 2101 Browning, Arlington, TX 76014. 6th-9th grade. Registration deadline: Tuesday, November 10th.
