Stacie Ellis

Stacie Ellis has a passion for helping others reach their health potential. As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Licensed Dietitian, she specializes in weight management; performance nutrition for recreational, sports, and dance; medical nutrition therapy for conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, malnutrition, and gastrointestinal disorders (to name a few); and also skin nutrition for acne.  

Stacie currently serves as a PRN Clinical Dietitian at Texas General Hospital and American Health Assessments, where she provides medical nutrition therapy to patients with various conditions. She serves as the Chief Nutrition Officer for Vitafive, a gummy vitamin company, where she gives nutritional input in product development, and writes blogs and newsletters for customers.  She provides her nutritional expertise as a consultant for Just Train, a celebrity personal trainer to stars such as Kevin Hart, Ne-yo, and Christina Milian, and she is a partner with Honeymoon Body, a vendor for Brides of North Texas that provides an online site for brides to get information on how to prepare for their wedding day, including nutrition, physical activity, and beauty tips.

Stacie attended Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas and graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Post Baccalaureate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. There she completed her Dietetic Internship and is expected to graduate with her Master's Degree in Nutrition in Fall of 2016. Her thesis is on the effects of using Athlete’s Plate for Easy Training/ Weight Management on dancer's body composition and overall health. Stacie has completed the Certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management Program on June 4 - 6, 2015. 

Stacie received her first Bachelor's of Science degree in Science Composite with an emphasis in Geology and a minor in Secondary Education from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. She became a high school science teacher at Shoemaker High School in Killeen, TX where she taught Chemistry, Integrated Physics and Chemistry, and Earth and Space Science to grades 9th-12th before returning to school to study nutrition.
