Maverick Ring Ceremony

There's always that one guy ...

After receiving their class rings, students took the stage to show their pride—and rub the bronze head of former UTA President E.H. Hereford for luck—at the Maverick Ring Ceremony last week. Arlington Sunrise Rotary honors UTA faculty members

The Arlington Sunrise Rotary Club presented its UTA Professors of the Year awards recently. Honored were Mary Curtis, College of Education; Sedrick Huckaby, College of Liberal Arts; Joshua Nason, College of Architecture, Planning and Public Affairs; Emmanuel Morales-Carmago, College of Business; Donelle Barnes, College of Nursing and Health Innovation; Khosrow Behbehani, College of Engineering; Laura Mydlarz, College of Science; Diane Mitschke, School of Social Work; and Kathryn Warren, Honors College.


Reset your favorites in new MyMav format

The look and design of MyMav and the MyMav sign-in page debuted today, Monday, May 1. While the functions remain the same, you will need to reset your favorites. If you have questions, contact the HelpDesk at helpdesk@uta.edu.


Steam service outage planned

The Thermal Energy Plant's annual outage of campus steam service for maintenance begins at midnight Monday, May 15. Operations should resume by 10 p.m. Wednesday, May 17. During the outage, the buildings served by the Thermal Energy Plant will be without hot water and steam, including heated water for the swimming pools. New employee paperwork process updated

The Office of Human Resources has implemented Equifax I-9 Management to complete the form I-9. New employees will use this system to access the form. LEARN MORE.
