The Leadership and Talent Development team is committed to serving the needs of UTA faculty and staff community by offering a variety of management and professional development opportunities that foster continuous learning and align with the strategic goals of the university. This team focuses in three main areas:

We facilitate personal and professional development by guiding individuals to discover their strengths, identify growth areas, and achieve their career goals. We specialize in tailoring courses to match the unique needs of teams or individuals.

On-Demand Courses: we offer a variety of options including UTA Canvas Courses, and courses offered by outside vendors including Academic Impressions, Coursera, and LinkedIn Learning

Leadership Development

We offer a variety of cohort programs aimed at aspiring leaders, those in their first leadership role all the way up to those in senior roles. These cohort programs focus on developing the whole person including increasing broad leadership capabilities. Participants will enhance their leadership skills and forge valuable connections with like-minded peers.

We use proven organizational development approaches to align, encourage, and support progress so individuals and teams may reach their full potential and make positive and lasting contributions to the organization.

    • We utilize assessments for enhancing both individual and team development, and we incorporate one-on-one sessions to help apply feedback. Some assessment examples are DISCtyles, CliftonStrengths, and Thomas Kilmann Conflict Inventory.
