The University of Texas at Arlington

July 17, 2020

Dear Maverick,

Welcome back to another semester of the Maverick Experience at The University of Texas at Arlington!

In the past few months, you have shown incredible perseverance as our community faced unprecedented challenges. Your resilience and dedication to your education are just a few of the many reasons you are a true Maverick.

As you prepare for the fall semester, remember that we are here to support your goals. UTA is a Community that Cares, and our dedicated faculty and staff are working night and day to prepare for the upcoming semester.

This fall, we will be offering face-to-face, hybrid, and online classes to keep you on track to complete your degree and ensure you have the options that best suit your needs. We will continue to provide services essential to your success, like the Student Help Center, student advisors, tutoring, and Student Health Services.

We’ve created a detailed plan to keep all our students safe by conducting regular and thorough sanitation and cleaning, encouraging social distancing; minimizing on-campus presence through smaller in-person classes; and emphasizing personal responsibilities with respect to the use of face coverings, frequent handwashing, personal hygiene, and staying home when sick.

Please visit our Fall 2020 Semester webpage and FAQ page to find all the details you need about online, hybrid, and in-person classes, campus safety, and much more.

Remember to take care of yourself during these challenging times. Your physical and mental health are important.

We can’t wait to have you back for another greater semester of the Maverick experience. Mav Up!
