BUSINESS BEYOND THE BATTLEFIELD CONFERENCE

Third Thursday Think Tank

The Veterans Business Outreach Center at the University of Texas at Arlington (UTAVBOC) is teaming up with EpICMAVS, a free and interactive entrepreneurial seminar, to host its monthly veteran entrepreneur training and networking event. This event gives participants the opportunity to meet with other entrepreneurs, exchange ideas, and get on the path towards starting, building, and growing a profitable business. UTAVBOC advisors, subject matter experts and practitioners will be on site to teach and answer questions for sessions marked with an asterisk. Each session will take place from 4:30pm to 6:00pm at the UTA Startup Lounge (505 W Nedderman Drive, Arlington, TX 76013—across from the Maverick Activities Center/MAC). B2B

Boots to Business (B2B) is the two-step entrepreneurial training program offered by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) as a training track within the Department of Defense’s Transition Assistance Program (TAP). This course is open to Servicemembers (including members of the National Guard and Reserves) and their spouses. Below you will find the dates for the B2Bs in North Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. For those Service members who have already transitioned back to civilian life, VBOC offers Boots to Business Reboot (B2BR). Click here to sign up for any and all B2Bs and B2BRs.
