Now in its 6th year, Business Beyond the Battlefield Conference 2024 is a 3-Day business-to-business educational conference, networking event, and small business showcase for military connected entrepreneurs, collaborative resource partners, military influencers, and decision-makers dedicated to growing the US economy by empowering the military connected entrepreneur community. 

This conference will keep you engaged throughout three days of dynamic business development networking, inspirational speakers, panel discussions, subject matter expert breakout sessions and expos to get you in front of the resources that your small business needs.

The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR), also known as America's Seed Fund, awards non-dilutive funding to develop your technology and chart a path toward commercialization. The HSC Next SBIR Phase 0 Program assists small businesses in applying for SBIR/STTR awards and is completely free to participants.

Join us for our monthly Third Thursday Think Tank *and learn about maximizing innovation and unlocking SBIR and STTR funding that is available for small businesses.

Boots to Business 

Boots to Business is the two-step entrepreneurial training program offered by the U.S. Small Business Administration as a training track within the Department of Defense’s Transition Assistance Program. This course is open to Servicemembers (including members of the National Guard + Reserves) and their spouses. Participants are introduced to the skills, knowledge, and resources they need to launch a business, including steps for developing business concepts, how to develop a business plan, and information on SBA resources available to help.
