| Whereas | Primary elections, precinct meetings, community government meetings, and general elections are on Tuesday; and |
| Whereas | Student Congress now meets on Tuesdays, at the same time as Arlington City Council meetings; and |
| Whereas | Student Congress and the university student population needs representation in Arlington City Government. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | Student Congress schedule meeting times to not conflict with regularly scheduled Arlington City Council meetings; and |
| Be It Further Resolved That | Student Congress meet on Thursday at 5 pm; and |
| Be It Further Resolved That | This change be implemented when a smooth transition is possible. |
