| Remarks | IMPLEMENTED - Phones would be installed in the UC, according to a memo dated May 26, 1992, from University President Nedderman. |
| Whereas | Many students travel from Dallas County to UTA; and |
| Whereas | All calls to Dallas and its surrounding areas - Mesquite, Garland Duncanville, Desoto, etc; and |
| Whereas | Students should be able to make short calls for business or personal purposes within the metropolitan area for a nominal fee. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | The University Center and the Central Library set up a public access phone at the respective information desks for the student's use; and |
| Be It Further Resolved That | There should be a maximum time limit of five minutes on these phones; and |
| Be It Further Resolved That | Both locations have the option of placing a $.25 donation box - to be placed by the phone, |
