| Whereas | UT Arlington does not offer an form of recognition for its elected student leaders, consisting of: Mr. and Mrs. UTA, UTA Ambassadors, Students Congress Members and Constituency Council Presidents, during graduation ceremonies; and |
| Whereas | These elected student leaders are the representatives of the UT Arlington student body and put in endless hours of hard work, service and dedication to help better UT Arlington; |
| Be It Further Resolved That | These Student leaders receive recognition during graduation ceremonies via a cord/sash/medallion as seen fit by UT Arlington and the administration, |
| Be It Further Resolved That | The Student leader only receives the designated from of leadership recognition at graduation if they abide by all the rules and regulations designated for their leadership position; this includes but is not limited to rules regarding attendance, participation hours, and professional conduct to be verified by the appropriate advisor |
