| Whereas | many majors require labs, making 3 credit classes 4 credit classes because of the combined system, or the class is 4 credit hours, and |
| Whereas | these conditions cause UTA students' hardship in waitlisting classes, as even if one class is 4 credit hours, another class cannot be waitlisted; |
| Be It Further Resolved That | the waitlist credit hour limit be raised to 8 credit hours to accommodate the more accurate needs of students needing to waitlist two classes equal to 7-8 credit. |
