My research interests are Biomineralogy, Ultrastructure, Electron Microscopy and Image Analysis. The majority of my work has centered on structure, distribution, development and possible function(s) of calcium oxalate in plants, fungi and insects. I use light and electron microscopy (SEM, TEM and STEM), x-ray analysis, modeling and image analysis in my work.
